CHEF (SUNSET GRILL)
Location: Waterloo, ONN2V 1K4
Salary: 35.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Diploma in Cooking or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work setting: Restaurant, Urban area, Bar
Responsibilities and Tasks
Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Recruit and hire staff
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Leading/instructing individuals
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Determine the size of food portions and costs
Clean kitchen and work areas
Order supplies and equipment
Manage kitchen operations
