Bookkeeper

We at Best Choice Kitchen Cabinets, located at unit 6-8528 123 Street, Surrey BC, V3W 3V6 Canada are looking for a permanent full-time Bookkeeper NOC 1311.

The Bookkeeper will have to perform the following duties:
• Keep financial record and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain journal ledgers and prepare financial statements.
• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and for utility, tax and other bills.
• Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
• Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.

Wage offered is $25.50 per hour, 40 hours per week. The employee will be entitled to 10 days of vacation time per year.

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field. Combined with 1-2 years of experience.
