RICARDOS CONVENIENCE is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, account reconciliation, tax filings, and maintaining financial records using both manual and computerized systems. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and long-term employment.

Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 35 hours/week
Salary: $29.00 per hour
Schedule: Morning, Overtime, Weekend work as needed

Job Requirements:
Languages:

English
Education:

College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
Experience:

Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience

Key Responsibilities:
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Maintain and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Prepare trial balance of books and tax returns
Generate various financial and accounting reports

Technical Skills:
Accounting software
Inventory control software
Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Spreadsheets and data entry
