RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistance in Strategy and Analysis
Strategic Development and Deployment Support: Contribute significantly to the formulation and execution of internal and external strategies, providing keen insights and analysis. Diligent tracking in online project management software is essential.
Market Research: Undertake market analysis and research on relevant trends, players, and best practices, delivering valuable information for informed strategic decision-making.
Sector-Specific Analysis: Analyze government policies, Indigenous issues, and the broader social finance ecosystem, providing insights and reporting to refine strategic initiatives.
Engagement Coordination
Stakeholder Relationship Support: support relationship management with diverse stakeholders, emphasizing proactive coordination, meticulous tracking, and database management.
Ecosystem Coordination: Effectively coordinate with players across the ecosystem, strengthening Raven’s network and insights.
Strategic Partnerships Coordination: Assist in coordinating Raven’s strategic partnerships, overseeing logistics, scheduling, and presentations for meetings, events, and initiatives. Also includes support with philanthropic grant writing and reporting.
Government Relations Assistance: Provide administrative support for government relations and policy efforts, maintaining comprehensive documentation and facilitating seamless communication.
Support to Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development
Senior Director Support: Reporting to the Senior Director will support meeting coordination, travel logistics, and general administrative tasks. Familiarity with and skills in communications will be essential.
Internal Team Support: Ensure the efficient functioning of the Outcomes Finance team, offering necessary support across diverse internal processes and tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in coordination roles, administration, or similar positions.
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and diverse stakeholder relationships effectively.
Experience working in, or with, Indigenous organizations or communities is an asset.
Experience working in philanthropy and social finance is an asset.
Bilingualism (English & French), written and spoken is an asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role is a permanent full-time employment position based remotely, though office space is available in Montréal, QC, Ottawa, ON and Vancouver, BC. The role may require occasional travel.
