“Jack Filled Foreign Exchange Inc.” in Scarborough, ON is now hiring a full time and permanent ‘Accounting Technician to join our business. We are currently looking for Accounting Technician to work in our office and eligible candidate should have previous experience working in the position or similar position.

SALARY: $25.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 hours/Week

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overseeing system implementation and accounting tasks, which encompass activities such as journal entries, reviewing profit and loss statements for completeness, managing payroll, and preparing financial statements.
Accountable for year-end responsibilities, which involve generating tax forms, workers’ compensation forms, and pension contribution forms, and submitting them to the applicable boards.
Ensuring the accurate and punctual disbursement of payments, payroll, benefits, and taxes in compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
Leading the month-end closing process to guarantee the precision and timeliness of monthly financial reports, utilizing both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Compiling and producing periodic statistical reports on revenue, taxes, payroll, and deductions as requested by management.
Conducting cash flow analysis and preparing financial statements, maintaining a consistent weekly reporting schedule, and ensuring precise account balancing.
Developing protocols related to accounting and bookkeeping for various departments while safeguarding and upholding confidential information.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of college or Diploma in related discipline.
Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred.
Fluent in English and good verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Knowledge of multiple languages will be an asset.
Fast paced environment, work under pressure, flexibility, client focus, reliability, organized and team player.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS windows, MS Access MS word, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting is preferred.
Able to work independently and in a team, flexible, good time management, organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
