New Age Granite and Marble Ltd. is a specialty distributor of natural stone. The company deals with high quality Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Quartz, Onyx, Limestone and Travertine imported from all over the world.
At this time, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Keep financial records and update general ledger
– Manage full cycle accounting process in accounts receivable, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
– Monitor accounts receivable to ensure collections are up to date
– Perform visa reconciliation
– Maintain up-to-date financial records, ensuring data integrity and completeness
– Manage and process checks and payments for various bills
– Assist in preparation of financial, statistical and other reports
– Perform other duties, as may be assigned by Financial Officer
QUALIFICATIONS
– Completion of courses in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
– Minimum 1 year of experience as Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role
– Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
– Experience in using QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and/or similar accounting software
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent time management and analytical skills
WORK CONDITIONS
– Permanent, full-time position
– $28.40 per hour
– 35 hours of work per week
– Overtime pay ($42.60/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
