About the Vacancy:

 

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team!

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

·         Maintain general ledgers, prepare financial statements. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts and prepare trial balance of books

·         Calculate and prepare cheques for tax and other bills

·         Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government documents

·         Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services

·         Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, as required

 

A Successful Candidate must possess the following:

 

·         1 year of experience as an Accounting Bookkeeper or a similar role

·         Or completion of two years of a recognized professional accounting program

·         Or college program completion certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field is required

·         Excellent command of English, both oral and written

·         Highly organized and detail-oriented

·         Ability to excel working in an extremely fast-paced environment

 

Compensation and Conditions:

 

·         Pay for this position will be $25.00 per hour

·         A regular work week will consist of at least 35 hours

·         Overtime may be occasionally required and will be paid at 1½ your regular pay after 44 hours per week

·         Work location: 50 Village Centre Pl, Suite 100, Mississauga, ON, L4Z 1V9
