Wage:
$43.54 per hour + benefits according to UNION collective agreement (full-time position; 40 hours per week)
Location of Work:
Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area, Province of Ontario
Job Description:
· Formwork used in concrete construction
· Assist with the construction of temporary wooden structures and supports
· Assist with building foundations and installing shoring
· Assist with the building and installing of platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders
· Determine specifications and calculate requirements
· Assist with the preparation of layouts
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood materials
· Operate power tools
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience
· Ability to learn and develop practical skills
· Capable of observing all health and safety codes
